Finally, a migrator that will move data from v2 to v3 is here! Initially, the idea was just to move events. However, while working on the migrator, we realised that this will not be so useful, so we continued to add things until everything that was possible was included. It took some time, but at the end result is that the migrator will move events, venues, categories, logos, attendees, both past and future from Ohanah v2 to v3.

The migrator is also super simple, although it requires a little bit of setting up. More on that in our documentation about the migrator.

The migrator is definitely the star of this release, however, some major things happened under the hood. The code is simpler, easier to maintain, more extendable and - quicker. This required some database changes, so there is another migrator for that. It will transition data from version 3.0.X to 3.1.0.

In comparison to this big changes, fixes for Joomla 3.5.1 incompatibilities and other minor issue looks not worth mentioning, but you can find them in the changelog.
